Thank you and Acknowledgments:
I would like to express my thanks to the Portsmouth, New Hampshire Police department. During the early stages of this book, they allowed me to join them for a first hand look at how they operate. I was allowed the privilege of riding with Sergeant David 'Lou' Ferland and his canine partner, Dragon. Through that experience, I gained the insight and information I needed to complete the book. I thank him for patiently listening to my story and helping me sort out the clues. To the entire Portsmouth Police department, thank you.

Officer Ferland and Dragon

I also express my gratitude to Officer G. Juliet, St. Maarten Police department. Officer Juliet shared his busy schedule to explain the operations and protocols of the Police on St. Maarten.

There are several individuals I wish to thank: Anna Montanino, Julie Beal, Linda Prentice, the owners of the Horny Toad Guesthouse, Simpson Bay, St. Maarten, Jim Johnston, St. Maarten, Joe's Jewelry International Philipsburg, St. Maarten and several who wanted to remain nameless. Each of these wonderful friends helped form my thoughts and direct my fantasy. They truly helped keep the dream alive.

To my husband, Steve, I love you and thank you for the multiple readings of the manuscript.
