The idea for The Captain's Fund came about on April 26, 1998 while I vacationed on The Friendly Island of St. Maarten. Sometime during the first night of my stay,
a boat appeared in Simpson Bay. It stayed 50 feet off shore for 11 days. No one went near it. Then, on the 11th day, two tanned young men in skimpy bathing suits dove into the water, swam to the boat
and sped away. What a mystery!!! |
